Ends: February 25th, 2019
Location: Streamed Daily and Hamsa
Length: 30 min/day
Extras: Shiva Puja
Shiva is known as the "Auspicious One" and the "Consciousness of Infinite Goodness." When referred to as "the Destroyer" Shiva destroys our ego, our ignorance, our pain and suffering. Shiva is the cause of Enlightenment. Shiva is the Ocean of Nectar that we dissolve into. By remembering the Divine Name we become absorbed in the Bliss of Shiva. We become mesmerized, entranced, and fixed upon the Highest Abode of Supreme Peace, Consciousness, Truth, and Reality.
Join us in this 21 Day Anusthan as we invoke the Power and Bliss of Shiva into our lives!
Please join us in reaffirming our commitment to living a life of positivity, love, service, attunement to and protection of the Dharma! May we experience the Highest Bliss of Shiva (Consciousness of Infinite Goodness)! Om
A Word on Anusthan
During this commitment of 21 days attuning to Shiva, we enter into our anusthan, a time dedicated to Divine or Spiritual practice. One meaning of Anusthan is “the Lord’s Dwelling Place.” The idea of performing an anusthan is to make yourself pure and to fit to become a receptacle of the Divine where you become the Lord’s Dwelling Place. Through an anusthan various (self-chosen) disciplines are taken on to increase one’s intention, purity, and attunement with the Divine. In the words of Sri Aurobindo, “If you wish for the Divine to enter, you must first make your house clean.”
